Recently, there are new facebook virus. It is spreading via Facebook's IM (Instant Messaging e.g.chatbox), and it is started like this :

"Hi. How are you?"
you repiles...

"Wanna laugh?"
you replies...

"Is it you on the video? want to see?"
And it will send you a LINK and DO NOT click the link!!!

-Remove all virus-
It is recommended to use this Antivirus ( MalwareBytes Anti-Malware )

Run a Full Scan, delete all detected virus.

-Enable Facebook Access-

The Virus has 2 files on windows, 2 processes and 3 registry values, you need to kill those processes and remove the files are the registry values, here they are:





1 – Kill these processes:

fbtre6.exe

mstre6.exe



2 – Delete these registry values:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run\”systray” = “c:\windows\mstre6.exe”

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run\”systray” = “C:\Windows\fbtre6.exe”

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\Explorer\Navigating



3 – Delete these files:

C:\\Windows\\fbtre6.exe

C:\\Windows\\fmark2.dat
